This independent film centers around a South Asian family in the suburbs of Toronto and Scarborough. Ash is caught between two worlds he must constantly travel through, one is the world of an ambitious writer in Toronto, and the other is the world of his family in the immigrant rich suburbs of Scarborough. The cast includes Bernard White playing the role of Vijay, Ash's father who hopes to reconnect with his distant son, and Pamela Mala Sinha playing Ash's mother Nisha.
