The director must seize the opportunity to distance himself from the audience; Starting from the first ten minutes of the movie, it is obvious that this is not an easy journey. The narrative freely switches between seemingly unrelated events, alternating between realistic and stylized fantasy dream sequences, occasionally shocking the audience with scenes of lesbian sex and a woman slowly being exposed. Playing multiple roles with several actors only adds a sense of skill and confusion, which is regrettable, as there are clearly many outstanding acting talents in the play, especially Isabel Huppert. The ruthless absurdity and self indulgence of this movie are so extreme, so reckless, and so repulsive that it is difficult to take them seriously.
