If u like Douglas Sirk, there are so many elements to be reminiscent of. The assertive color contrast in the climax is absolutely fabulous. The use of green color mixing with red and blue is absolutely from Douglas Sirk but also fits into the movie. What’s more, it makes the movie feel “ young”. The change of frame ratio is very bold and is strongly expressive together with the high pulsed editing.
